Two Guys on the Moon

A very silly generator for building the barest glimmer of a sci-fi (horror?) adventure concept. Based on a slightly obscure meme format. Its most popular variant goes like:

“If there were two guys on the moon and one killed the other with a rock would that be fucked up or what”

— original author unknown

The prompt is as follows; fill it in by rolling on each of the tables below:

If there were [A: number] [B: people] on [C: place] and one of them [D: action] the other(s) with [E: object] would that be [F: value judgment] or what

Once you’ve generated your prompt, consider elaborating on it by extrapolating the place that it occurred, adding more detail to the people that were there, and of course the focal object. I imagine you might use this as a seed for a sci-fi horror mystery, where the main thrust of the story involves a group of player characters going to investigate the aftermath and learn what really happened.

The value judgment part is mostly just for fun, but you could incorporate it into the mission briefing or however else the party is brought into contact with the mysterious events.
